Ophthalmic Clinical Assistants & Nurses
Our ophthalmic clinical assistants and nurses are highly trained to take medical histories, perform visual acuity tests (Snellen testing), measure intraocular pressures and instil dilating drops.
They perform diagnostic testing such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scanning, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography and computerised visual fields testing.
They also prepare the patient for intravitreal injections including anaesthetics and tray set up.
